ESI's Adnan Cerimagic spoke at an online conference about how journalists and think tanks from the Western Balkans communicate with Brussels and EU member states.

ESI’s Gerald Knaus was invited to participate on an online discussion on "EU integration of the Western Balkans: how to revive a stalling process?", where he proposed to strengthen the transformative character of EU enlargement by turning it into a two-step process during which the region would be integrated into the European Single Market before gaining full membership.

Gerald Knaus gave the keynote speech at a Migration Expert Conference on an EU-Turkey Refugee Agreement 2.0. The event was part of a one-week trip to Ankara, Hatay, Kilis, and Gaziantep.
