ESI senior analyst Besa Shahini was invited to Kosovo to brief a group of Spanish MPs on economic development, visa liberalization and Kosovo-EU issues. She also met with a group of Chevening fellows from Bradford University studying Peacekeeping and International Capacity Building. Besa led them on a one day tour outside of Pristina, visiting the village of Lubishte to talk about economic development and its importance in state building.

Both meetings as well as the tour to Lubishte were organized by Political Tours, a UK-based organization aiming to give people a firsthand understanding of current affairs.
