Warsaw – Meetings with ODIHR on election monitoring and with the Polish MFA on European enlargement

On 9 April, ESI's Gerald Knaus met with Beata Martin-Rozumilowicz, head of ODIHR's Election Department and her deputy Nicola Schmidt to discuss the future of election monitoring missions in Europe. On 11 April, Gerald also met with Anna Sochańska, Deputy Director of the European Department at Polish MFA as well as her colleagues Jacek Gajewksi, Marcin Czaplinski, Tomasz Majchrowski, and Sylwia Cugier to present an ESI proposal for a new generation of progress reports.
