Hamburg – Lecture on the EU-Turkey agreement and visit of first reception service for refugees

Gerald Knaus gave a lecture at Haus Rissen, an educational institute in Hamburg, on the EU-Turkey agreement on migration: "Zwischen Zuversicht und Krisenstimmung -Der 'Merkel-Plan' und Deutschlands Partnerschaft mit der Türkei". Before, he met with a group of officers from the German Federal Army to discuss migration policy and German-Turkish relations.

While in Hamburg, Gerald had meetings at the ministries for domestic and social affairs, and visited the aid organisation Hanseatic Help, as well as Hamburgs first reception service Zentrale Erstaufnahme (ZEA) for refugees.
