ESI in Yerevan: report presentation of "Noah's Dove returns"

ESI Chairman Gerald Knaus, ESI Senior Analyst Nigar Goksel and ESI Armenia Analyst Tigran Mrkchtyan presented ESI's first report on Armenia. The report "Noah's Dove Returns" discusses the nature of the genocide debates in Turkey and Armenia.

The audience included representatives from various spheres of the Armenian and international society, academia, media, NGOs, politics, Diaspora, diplomats. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session. Several of the participants of the discussion pointed out the value of ESI's report in the debate on Armenian genocide and its objective nature. There were also critical remarks which the ESI representatives were ready to discuss.

The discussion was followed by a screening of the film Istanbul: Truth Fear and Hope which was of huge interest to the audience. There were several suggestions of translating and showing it on Armenian TV.
