ESI in Washington at the annual 2008 World Bank and IMF meetings

ESI Senior Analyst Diba Nigar Goksel is in Washington DC attending the annual 2008 World Bank and IMF meetings as one of the 25 "sponsored" civil society participants of the Civil Society Policy Forum organised by the WBG and IMF Civil Society Teams.

In this historic time - against the backdrop of the global financial crisis - Nigar is joining events where issues such as the global development agenda, food and fuel prices crisis, climate change, and IMF reform are debated. She has also had the opportunity to interact one-on-one with the staff of these institutions covering the Caucasus. Nigar will give a talk at Jamestown Foundation on October 15th at an event titled "Are Turkey-Armenian Relations About to Take off?".
