ESI on State-Building in Southeast Europe at TRANSFUSE General Assembly in Berlin

Being invited to Transfuse's 6th General Assembly, Gerald spoke on lessons learned from ESI's research on State-Building in the countries of Southeast Europe.  Other speakers included Lale Akgün (Member of the Deutscher Bundestag), Sinan Ülgen (Chairman of think-tank EDAM, Istanbul), Ivan Krastev (Chairman of the Board, Centre for Liberal Strategies, Sofia), Thomas Carothers (Vice President for studies-international politics and governance at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Washington), Veton Surroi (Chairman of ORA, Member of the Kosovar delegation on status talks, Prishtina), and Osman Topčagić (Director, Directorate for European Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo).
