Graz – ESI at panel discussion on borders

ESI’s Gerald Knaus was invited to participate in a panel discussion on borders entitled: “WIR* – Eine Grenzerfahrung” (We – A Border Experience) organised by the Schauspielhaus in Graz.
Gerald participated online and spoke about the EU’s migration policy and the urgent need for humane borders and fair asylum processes and how to protect refugees, through resettlement programmes. For this, willing political coalitions are needed. In addition, he provided arguments to convince sceptics of a more humane border policy.
