29 September 2007

Gerald participated a joint working group of the London School of Economics and the Open Society Institute on the European Union's planned enlargement to include Turkey.  The group includes senior academics, public intellectuals, and policy experts from various parts of Europe.

Other members of the group include Hakan Altinay (Open Society Institute), Murat Belge (Helsinki Citizens Assembly), Mient Jan Faber (Free University), Mary Kaldor (LSE), Paulina Lampsa (Re-Public), Gian Giacomo Migone (Università di Torino), Ulrich Preuß (Hertie School of Governance), Narcís Serra (Fundació CIDOB).
