In the next few weeks, ESI will participate in two events on the future of Pan-European Human Rights: on 4 April in Berlin at an event organised by the Center for international Peace Operations on election monitoring ("1. ZIF-Wahlbeobachtungstag") and on 10 April in Warsaw in the Third Task Force "Challenges to European Societies: Identifying Major Risks and Finding Innovative Policies". The task force project is designed to produce strategic and high quality advisory reports for the Secretary General of the Council of Europe and brings together analysts from Europe's think tank community.

ESI's Gerald Knaus also contributed an article to the Commonwealth Yearbook under the title "The (East) European experience and the future of international election monitoring".
