ESI discusses EU policy towards the Western Balkans

On 19 April 2010, ESI Senior Analyst discussed "Strategies for Stability in the Balkan region / Critical Assessment of the EU Foreign Policy towards the Western Balkans" with 15 journalists from Southeast Europe, who participate in a training programme organised by the Robert Bosch Stiftung and the Thomson Reuters Foundation.

Alexandra Stiglmayer explained how EU policies are created and the role of the different institutions, assessed the current state of affairs, and talked about the EU visa liberalisation process for the Western Balkans and ESI's related Schengen White List Project.
