Vienna – ESI at conference on Europe and transatlantic relations

ESI’s Kristof Bender participated at the “Europe’s Futures Mid-Year Conference 2023/24” organised by the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) and ERSTE Foundation in cooperation with the Atlantic Council.

Kristof chaired the opening panel on “Taking the Pulse of Transatlantic Relations” featuring Constanze Stelzenmüller (Brookings, Washington DC), Rosa Balfour (Carnegie Europe, Brussels), Soli Äzel (Kadir Has University, Istanbul) and Erik Jones (Robert Schuman Centre at the European University Institut, Florence).

Other sessions covered China, Ukraine, EU enlargement, and the state of democracy, always from a transatlantic perspective.
