Capacity building seminar in Novi Sad - How to make a difference through policy-relevant research (22 - 24th June 2007)

ESI and the Citizens' Pact for South Eastern Europe are organizing a two days training seminar in Novi Sad on the topic "How to make a difference through policy-relevant research" from 22 – 24th June 2007.

The seminar has the purpose of introducing participants to the research methodology ESI has developed in the past eight years and to inspire them to apply a similar set of questions and techniques to understanding economic and social trends in their own society.

Participants of the seminar will be chosen from candidates selected according to the following criteria: they should be under 35, able to speak and work in English, have good computer skills, be involved in research work or want to experience in the issue. The training seminar will be designed for a maximum of 20 participants.

The organizers will cover meals and accommodation during the seminars as well as group transport to the seminar venue.
