Nathan Dufour (former staff)
Nathan Dufour (Belgium) joined ESI in Brussels as a junior analyst in February 2011. He holds an MA in European Studies from the Institute for European Studies of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (2010) and an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium (2011). In 2009-2010, he carried out traineeships at the Representation of the European Commission in Belgium and at the Council of the EU (External and Politico-Military Affairs) where he assisted in preparing and following up on meetings of the Political and Security Committee, Coreper II and the Foreign Affairs Council. In 2011, he was in charge of liaising between delegations to the G20 and the G20's French Chair as a freelance Liaison Officer. During his studies, he specialised in EU-Russia security cooperation in post-Soviet Central Asia and in drug trafficking issues.
