Barbara Krumpholz (former staff)

Barbara Krumpholz (Germany) joined ESI in July 2022. She is pursuing a master’s degree in European Politics at the University of Oxford, researching the impact of candidate gender and vote choice for right-wing populist parties in Europe. She completed her Bachelor of Philosophy, Politics and Economics in Durham, UK, and spent a year in Bolivia after high school, for a voluntary service. Her research interests include gender and politics, right-wing populism and democratic backsliding.
