Angela Longo (Italy) joined ESI as an analyst in March 2010. Angela was a trainee at the European Commission in the Unit "External Relations and Enlargement" of the Directorate-General Justice, Freedom and Security. Angela has spent a few years in Serbia and in Montenegro, dealing with cooperation and development projects and working for the UN Office of the Resident Coordinator in Belgrade/UNDP, and for the OSCE Mission to Montenegro. She is interested in the political development of the Western Balkans, their accession to the European Union and in particular their activities in the field of justice and home affairs. Angela holds a MA in Institutions and Politics of Human Rights and Peace and a bachelor degree in International Relations, both from University of Padua.
