Sofia – Discussions on migration at the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On 18 December, ESI's Gerald Knaus and Andras Toth-Czifra attended a workshop with the representatives of the Bulgarian government in Sofia on the migration-related priorities of the incoming Bulgarian presidency of the EU Council. The meeting was organized in partnership with the Sofia office of the European Council of Foreign Relations and attended by the head of ECFR's Sofia office Vessela Tcherneva and office coordinator Daniel Stefanov.

In the afternoon, Gerald Knaus met the council members of ECFR Bulgaria over lunch and visited ECFR's Sofia office where he discussed possible cooperation with ECFR in 2018. He also answered the questions of journalists of the Bulgarian National Radio, Bulgaria OnAir and Capital.
