Skopje – ESI at the annual Aspen conference on the Western Balkans

ESI's analyst Adnan Cerimagic took part in a conference entitled "Curbing political influence on independent institutions in the Western Balkans", jointly organised by the Aspen Institute Germany and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia. The conference took place in Skopje from 3 to 6 September 2018.

Adnan presented ESI's latest reports and ideas on future of EU enlargement to the Western Balkans and took part in numerous meetings with Macedonian officials, including prime minister Zoran Zaev and foreign minister, Nikola Dimitrov, as well as representatives of the Macedonian civil society, media and opposition.
