Vienna – ESI at workshop on rule of law and media freedom

ESI's Kristof Bender participated in a workshop titled ‘Undoing the Illiberal Damage: A Democratic Guide to Reversing Democratic Backsliding?’, organised by the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM) on 18 and 19 November 2025. At the examples of Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, discussions focused on the rule of law, media freedom, corruption and identity politics.
