Belgrade – ESI takes part in the Belgrade Security Conference
From 18 to 20 November 2024, ESI senior analyst Adnan Cerimagic participated in the third edition of the Belgrade Security Conference, held under the theme “In Defence of Humanity.” The event gathered leaders from the US, Europe, and the Balkans, alongside global think-tankers, academics, activists, diplomats, and current and former politicians.
On 18 November, Adnan contributed to the Young Leaders Workshop, engaging 28 young leaders from six Western Balkans countries. The workshop aims to empower young people in the region, fostering a new generation of decision-makers and opinion-shapers equipped to drive change. Its mission is to encourage youth participation in critical discussions, amplify their perspectives, and utilise their skills to tackle pressing challenges facing the region.
Adnan shared insights into the EU enlargement process and presented ESI’s research and advocacy methods, inspiring participants to actively engage in shaping the region’s future.
