ESI senior analyst Adnan Ćerimagić took part in the Dialogue Southeast Europe Regional Network Meeting organised by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES SOE) on 5 September 2025 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The meeting, held at the European House of Culture and National Minorities, was part of the FES Jubilee celebrations. The event gathered local, regional, and EU partners to reflect on FES SOE’s regional work, strengthen connections across portfolios, and explore new initiatives.
Discussions covered a wide range of topics, including EU integration and peace and security, dealing with the past, gender justice, climate and energy, and labour migration.
Adnan contributed to the exchange on EU integration and peace and security, bringing in ESI’s perspective on democratic reforms and the role of the EU in supporting stability in the Western Balkans. The meeting concluded with a wrap-up session and a working lunch, allowing participants to identify common themes and explore opportunities for future cooperation.
