Bern – ESI at Swiss MFA Western Balkans retreat

ESI's Gerald Knaus was invited to participate in a workshop on the Western Balkans organised by the Swiss foreign ministry in Bern. Questions debated were the credibility of the EU perspective, the role of international actors in the region, Kosovo-Serbia relations, developments in Macedonia after the government crisis, and the implications of the Special Court for Kosovo, among others.

Participants included Swiss ambassadors from the region, as well as OSCE and independent experts.
