ESI’s Gerald Knaus met with Kosovo’s president Vjosa Osmani to discuss how Kosovo can move forward towards an integrated and common democratic Europe, where borders are invisible and armed conflict is unthinkable.
Gerald also met with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, the Minister of Interior, Xhelal Svecla, and with the Ambassador of Kosovo to Belgium, and presented ESI’s latest proposal for Kosovo, Preventing violence – transform Kosovo dialogue.
Gerald emphasized the importance of preventing armed conflict between Serbia and Kosovo and urgently recommencing the EU-facilitated dialogue to strengthen ties among Belgrade, Brussels, and Pristina.
