The meeting focused on KCSF’s strategic priorities coming period. Board members also discussed broader trends affecting civil society in Kosovo and globally, including challenges to democratic governance, funding, and civic space.

ESI continues to contribute to strengthening civil society and democratic resilience in the Western Balkans through engagement with key regional partners such as KCSF. ESI’s deputy chairman and senior analyst Kristof Bender served as a member of the KCSF board from 2015 to 2025.
